There are extremely many different ways to use to drive traffic to a website/blog. In this article, I will describe how you can very easily promote your blog, website, social media account, etc. through your Wi-Fi network and thereby increase the organic traffic to the website/blog.
The basic implementation is very simple and it is carried out by naming the wifi network to the domain name (url) that is used/linked to your website or blog. Once this is done, the wifi network's name (SSID) is exposed in public places such as: cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, etc. in order to attract interested parties/audiences/readers.
In the first place, you only want to expose the domain name in order for people to memorize the domain name. And secondly, you want curiosity to take over among those who have seen the domain name, which in the best case leads to them visiting the website/blog and taking part in the information that is there.
This marketing technique can be done in bulk format.
In other words, the contractor can use several different mobile routers that are placed in several different places that are specifically selected based on the purpose of the website/blog. For example, if you have a website that sells boat accessories, this marketing method can be advantageous to carry out in harbor areas when there are many boat guests.
A more advanced method is to offer free wifi connection and in connection with that show a "landing web page" which contains specific information based on purpose. Some more expensive routers have this function/ability built into the hardware.
There are good opportunities to administer larger Wi-Fi networks, i.e. a network that contains several active routers in several different geographical locations. Such a composition can be controlled through an installed application in a mobile phone.
That is, you can control several routers from one application. Means that you can change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) of a router or several routers through the application in the mobile phone. This of course opens the door to promoting one or more domain names in one or more routers. Economically, it is a relatively expensive way to use. A mobile router with good range including internet subscription is expensive. A variant on a smaller scale is to use the mobile phone, and through this publish the Wi-Fi network's name (SSID) in connection with visiting public places where there are many people.
To get economy in this, some people choose to rent out name space in a router that has good exposure. And in such a case, the time for capital investment for router including internet subscription versus "break even" can be anything from a couple of months to a year.
The goal is to be seen in the right place, at the right time and to do it in several different ways to permeate all different public channels at the same time.
Back to my above marine example.
Each year in Monaco, larger exclusive yacht fairs are coordinated. Means that one of the larger target groups in this context is comprised of people interested in boats. At this point, it is ingenious to supplement marine online marketing by exposing a domain name in one or more routers with longer range in the port area of Monaco. This could lead to a certain part of the target group memorizing the domain name/(names) and in the best case being converted to unique visitors/"organic traffic" which in turn can lead to orders, purchases, increased customer base and more.
Big things start small.
It is of course tactical to execute this marketing model on a smaller scale first. Eg by sharing/publishing a Wi-Fi network name (SSID) in their mobile phone.
Personally, I use two networks. One that is stationed at my home, as well as the one that I have on my mobile phone. I have no commercial purpose with my website, my purpose is to inspire audiences/readers through published information which is mostly comprised of different kinds of marketing techniques.
Of course, you can name (SSID) the wifi network name with something other than one domain name, tex Insta @kjg.007 or something else based on purpose.
If you choose to use a domain name, aim to use a domain name that is not too long.
The name must attract a certain amount of attention, be easy to remember and be suitable based on the industry, niche, etc. In my case, I have chosen to point/direct the traffic coming from gyllenstorm.com to my Joomla website. This is because the Joomla website is created in a subdomain.
The technical term for pointing/directing a domain name is “301”.
So if you have an active platform on Instagram, Twitter, Wordpress, Blogger etc that is not linked to a domain name then you can you buy a domain name and report to the domain name provider that you want to do a 301, in which case you enter your existing platform URL (https://instagram.com/kjg.007 ?) to the domain name provider.
Pointing a domain name (301) and getting it activated can take a varying amount of time depending on several different technical internet factors. Everything from it being activated immediately to several days before it is activated. Ask your provider for the exact time frame for 301 activation in connection with domain name purchase and pointing.
The marketing method can be used for competitive purposes.
Hypothetically, for example, if a restaurant sells a beer for 10 dollars, the competitor can place a router near the restaurant and name its SSID with its restaurant name and a beer for 5 dollars - eg "Fatfood-1Beer-5USD"....etc.
Example explanation:
Hypothetical restaurant name: Fatfood
Product offer: A beer
Price: $5
There are several possibilities regarding different types of execution with this marketing technique and it must of course be carried out over a longer period of time and preferably together with other marketing techniques at the same time. The marketing technique through a unique SSID could be carried out, for example, by a person in Sweden who has placed his router in another country, for example Switzerland, etc. concretely means that the "game plan" for this marketing method which is carried out by naming the SSID with a domain name or other unique name is very large.
The word/name is freely used in Sweden.
Within the framework of "reasonableness" in combination with common sense, the word and the text have always been free to use in Sweden. *Generally, you do not need permission to write, publish or speak. Legal support for this can be found, among other things, in the freedom of expression basis and i freedom of the press regulation.
Note that the corresponding legislation may look different in other countries and what applies there should of course always followed.
So if the marketing method through unique SSID is performed between 2 or more countries, check the legislation first before implementation.

Geo data is an area within digital marketing that is particularly interesting. This is because you want to reach the right audience and in this often linked to a special geographical location. The geographic location can be a country, a city, etc.
When it comes to my Joomla website, which is built with multi-language features that can be linked to several different countries, it is of course important that visitors to the website are guided to use the website correctly in order to be able to take part in the information that I publish.
On my website there are several articles in several different languages. So if the webpage is visited by a reader from Florida, I want articles focused on USA to be displayed.
By asking the visitor about their geographical location, I can also guide the visitor in the right direction if consent is given. Everything is done easily and smoothly through a code function that integrates with the web visitor's browser (it's not "rocket research").
The code function does not make my Joomla website noticeably heavier, nor does it load the server in an abnormal way, which could impair my website's seo. Everything works very well and it is easy to implement this setup in most web systems that digital marketers use.
What does the feature look like on the front page of the website?
The image shows the function at the top right of the website. A short text says “Hello visitors from Stockholm, Sweden!” Followed by the text: “Your place….”Followed by the text: "Confirm your location and select flag".
It is precisely this that guides the web visitor/audience into the right channel on the web page.
In mobile browsers, the function is displayed as follows:
Phase 1, Note that the web visitor is asked for consent to the website wanting to know the visitor's geographic location. *Consent is required from the visitor in order to determine the visitor's geographic location.
If no consent is given, then the visitor's geographic location is not displayed on the web page.
Phase 2, the web page asks for the visitor's location, either the exact location or the approximate one. Here, too, consent is required from the web visitor.
Phase 3, and upon consent, the visitor's country and city are displayed. Which indicates to the web visitor that the Swedish flag should be selected.
And if the web visitor selects the Swedish flag, then the web page displays Swedish informative articles.
Depending on the type of browser the visitor uses: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, etc., this geo-function is displayed but with a different layout depending on the type of browser used by the visitor.
So what are the disadvantages of installing this geo-feature on a website?
Some web visitors who are not faithful readers may be annoyed by having to state their geographic location in order to access the web page's information correctly. This can result in such web visitors leaving the website and thus the website owner loses a web visitor, thus deteriorating the website's organic traffic.
So when it comes to the geo function, the web developer has to weigh "pears against apples" and in this ask himself the question "can the geo function add more positive experience to the website than negative"?
This of course depends on how the website is created and whether it is multilingual or not. For my part, I only see advantages in using the geo function on the website. And in my assessment, the seo parameter is of course included. Being able to give the audience/readers the right information quickly is important. And this geo feature helps with that on my site.
The Geo feature is cut and dried for digital marketing and for content distribution on the web in a Joomla system. With commercial orientation or non-commercial orientation.
Small tweaks of the right kind make your website more powerful and that leads to more readers and an increased audience. The Geo Function is one of the tweaks you might want to implement on your website?

How do the Google online courses work?
The setup is very simple. Google displays various videos that contain facts about the topic you have chosen. At the end of each Google course, a test is conducted where you answer questions related to the Google course content in the video.
For some questions, only one answer out of all options can be correct and for some other questions, several answer options can be correct. You have an unlimited number of attempts at each test and can repeat the test in each course as many times as you like. The purpose is to learn through the information provided by Google. And, yes the courses are free. Sign in with your Google account.
Some of the “top notch” Google online courses are certified.
A number of the Google online courses are certified. That is, when a course is completed and the test is passed, the course participant receives a certificate by Google. Obviously something that has value for those who choose to complete such a course.
A number of years ago, I chose to take a few of the online courses certified by Google with a focus on digital marketing, YouTube Music. Some of the certificates have an end date, i.e. after the end date the certificate must be renewed for it to be valid.
Update your online knowledge by repeating the “top notch” Google online courses!
Some information is remembered better for some reason and some information is lost over time. Based on this, it is recommended to update your knowledge by repeating the Google courses if necessary.

Creating content for the web that is attractive and grabs the reader's attention is an art.
This is done by using headings that are well formed and well thought out based on the chosen topic. It is done by using color combinations in different combinations, color combinations in images, banners and more.
All in all, the right kind of combination of text, headlines and images forms powerful content for the web.
In the image below, a comparison of the same image in color and grayscale is shown. It is quite clear which of the images will get the most attention on the web.
How content is designed is very different.
It doesn't have to be wrong to create content in, for example, grayscale. On my website, I mostly use four colors - black, orange, white and an animated grayscale background image.
