In younger days when I was a beginner in the subject of web design and seo, many mistakes were made.
Some of the mistakes I made was pushing too much content into the web page. Content that consisted of javascript, images that were not optimized, links that had no description, content that was not dynamic.

Publishing massive content in a short period of time can result in the content being classed as spam and thus not being indexed in search engines.
At the same time, it is of the utmost importance to update content on a website regularly to achieve good SEO. So it is a balancing act about how much new content should be published on the website and how quickly the content should be published on the website.
Automating this process completely is something I try to avoid. From what I've seen, better seo is achieved when posting is random, but that's my personal opinion.

In one of my geek projects in my younger days, I developed different kinds of applications in order to influence my seo with a targeted purpose. And it is precisely this technique that I want to share with you who are reading this article.
Creating an application that complies with Applestoreś and Google Playś policy can be challenging for a beginner. But with the help of Chat GPT and similar tools, the process becomes much easier.
To begin with: it is of course important that your application fulfills a need that the users have in one way or another. Otherwise no one will use it, download it to their device.
If you lack of fantasy about what your application could do, look at those that are already on the Appstore and Google Play or why not the Chrome Store? Once you have decided what you want to develop, you create your application and upload it to the respective developer console on Apple and on Google.
Once you arrive at this breaking point, the SEO opportunities will come.
In my case, I focused on get the users of the application to create links back to my website. I did this by embedding some code in my application that users downloaded from Google and Apple, in addition to code that benefited the increase in backlinks, I also added code that benefited my keywordś.
Thus, a function was created which meant that every time someone downloaded my application, a back link to my website was also created with a connection to specified keywords.
This generated traffic and made my website competitive.
The beauty of this particular seo technique was that my contribution was a one-time contribution and after that the rest took care of itself. That is, 1, I created the application, 2, added it to Google and Apple and after that the rest took care of itself.

By publishing a video on a website that plays automatically when visitors connect to the web page, conditions are created to keep the visitor on the web page until the video has been shown.
This in combination with indicative and qualitative content in the form of text and links creates a very strong "seo sauce" that will be difficult to compete with.
This creates indirect conditions for increased traffic to the website.
Of course, there are variations on this combination. A variant is to set a timed trigger on when the video should start appearing on the web page. For example, if the approximate time to read the text content on a web page is 3 min, the video's timed trigger can be set to 2.5 min. This means that a visitor will at best stay on the website for about 3 minutes excluding the duration of the video displayed.
If no autoplay is enabled by the video and no time trigger is enabled then the odds of increased engagement regarding visitors connecting to the web page are reduced. Thus, the power of the "seo sauce" also decreases significantly.
So every time a visitor connects to a web page that shows YouTube videos automatically, an increase in viewers on Youtube/Youtube channel/Youtube video is also generated. This is a synergy that comes with the “seo sauce” if you publish videos on your web page that play automatically. If you show ads on your Youtube videos then you also probably will earn more when you use this marketing method.
The argument for implementing this is that the combination of text and video contributes to giving the visitor as much information as possible about the topic that is relevant. If this is met, the odds increase that the visitor will return to the website. So, an initial one-time visitor can become a regular visitor to the web page and that is a win-win situation.

In this article, my focus will be on how an implemented affiliate advertising system affects the website's search engine optimization.
An example of such a system is Google Adsense. And of course many fall for the temptation of being able to start making money from ad clicks. But you must be clear that ad systems can negatively affect the website's seo.
So precisely for this reason you should weigh your decision about implementing advertising systems or not. What can happen concretely when you have implemented an advertising system that often consists of javascript code is that the download speed of the web page is extended/ deteriorated. The website becomes heavier and slower and through this traffic is lost, the website receives less traffic/ visitors.
Another factor is that some of the traffic will be sent to another website - the website to which the ad is linked.
The traffic is sent out from the website to an external website. SEO is negatively affected by a web page that is too heavy, that the web page loads slowly. SEO is negatively affected when traffic is sent to another external website. In general, the activity tends to be less on the website that uses implemented advertising systems.
The profit of using implemented affiliate advertising systems is money. But it is usually not in proportion to the loss that results in seo aspects (those that I mention above).
There are many major websites that opt out of advertising entirely and they do so for one or more reasons.
Something that must also be taken into account when implementing an affiliate advertising system is that the website's content becomes diluted with other content. Thus, the quality of content is lost and that is of course negative. For content to reach its full potential, the content needs to be of high quality and optimized for search engines.
